Packing a punch rated at 94,000 pounds per square inch, our 5-axis waterjet is the most dangerous machine in our shop. But don’t let its brute force fool you. It can bob and weave, cut and cross, to produce sharp internal corners.
Stand Clear
Such agility requires tight security measures. A light curtain is installed around the perimeter of the water jet to prevent curious fingers from getting too close. If anyone steps within 2 ft of the base, a sensor will trip, and the machine will automatically shut down.
No Swimming
A blend of water and sand moves at 4x the speed of sound, cutting through everything in its path: glass, granite, steel, titanium. It takes 13,000 litres of water to keep the machine from tearing itself apart.
