Last Thursday marked the grand opening of Blakeburn Elementary’s 4 classroom addition.
The event was attended by many SD 43 representatives, and our own Carl Philibert and Jared Schmale.
It was a fantastic event put together by the school featuring speeches, songs, procession through the addition and lots of food. All the children and staff from the school got to participate in the festivities. It was great to see the pride they have in their school and the new addition we built for them.
