Sonic Formula UBC is an engineering student team that competes in the international Formula SAE (FSAE) Collegiate design series and has been active for the past 23 years. Their team designs, builds, and races an open wheeled, formula style race car which they build from bottom up every year. The competition puts students in a real world situation where research, design, manufacturing, testing, developing, marketing, managing and fund raising are all major considerations. 

This year, Formula UBC approached Method for sponsorship and our team was more than happy to oblige. Using our hot wire cutting capability, we produced some beautiful foam cores for their build. Best of luck to the Sonic Formula UBC Team and thank you for choosing Method!
